Liverwort

When I was in grad school I had a few friends down the hall in pharmacognosy. I had never heard of it before. It’s the field of studying medicinal chemical from plants. I’m sure my old classmates would have something to say about liverwort.

Nikon Small World challenge 2018

I wished The Atlantic would have reminded people that these are often colorized. When you use fluorescent microscopy the images are greyscale and people often colorize them later. Note, a lot of the images are NOT fluorescent.
